Construction work on the new 8300 sqm Les Beaucamps High School has commenced, adjacent to the existing school site. Piling is underway and the building will begin to take shape with the arrival of the steel frame in April this year. The project will be completed for the start of the 2012-13 academic year and, once complete, the old school will make way for sports pitches and car parking. Design Engine are lead designer; being responsible for the campus masterplan, architecture and interior design.

After 6 months of extensive infrastructure operations, Laing O’Rourke began construction work in January on the redevelopment of the Oxford Brookes University Headington Campus. Due for completion in the Spring of 2013, the series of new and refurbished buildings amount to 24,000sqm of new accommodation, including a new library, lecture theatres, student services centre, teaching accommodation and commercial/retail space. Design Engine are lead consultant on the project and have been responsible for both the architecture and interior design.
