We are delighted that the Abercrombie & John Henry Brookes Building has been shortlisted in this year’s Higher Education category in the AJ Retrofit Awards. This recognises, in particular, the work carried out with the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment to extend and enhance their home in the Abercrombie Building. The project has been an example of taking a late 1950s tower and giving it a new lease of life by the addition of a new extension and atria space. The award will feature in the 27th June edition of the Architects’ Journal. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on the 17th September.
