Design Engine Founding Director Richard Jobson had a busy evening at the SPACES Awards and President’s Dinner held near Birmingham on Friday 3rd November. He picked up a Highly Commended Award in the Innovation category of the Civic Building of the Year for the AUB Student Services Building and then returned to the stage to accept the Client of the Year Award on behalf of Arts University Bournemouth. Many congratulations to AUB Principal and Vice-Chancellor Stuart Bartholomew.
SPACES (the Society for Public Architecture, Construction, Engineering and Surveying) is a not for profit collaborative organisation for those in the building professions who work in and for the public sector. Each year the SPACES Awards seek to “capture the creativity, value and pragmatism embedded in the best spaces made for our communities.”
