Cedar Park shortlisted for a 2016 Housing Design Award

8 July 2016

The Cedar Park regeneration scheme for disability charity Enham Trust has been shortlisted for a 2016 Housing Design Award. Cedar Park, which will deliver a state-of-the-art Neurological Rehabilitation Unit together with 81 new accessible homes in Enham Alamein near Andover, features in the Project Schemes category which recognises innovative schemes with detailed planning permission.

The project has been designed to fuse buildings and landscape into one holistic composition, whilst always managing the pragmatic issues of pedestrian and vehicular movement, waste management, orientation and views.

This is an ambitious and imaginative scheme which will make a substantial difference to the daily lives of Enham Trust’s clients; we are proud that it has received such unanimous support.”Design Engine Director Rod Graham

The Housing Design Awards were founded in 1947 to drive quality during the rebuild of post-war Britain. The awards have grown to become a cross industry partnership between various arms of government, the private sector and all key professional institutions. This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Monday 11th July.
