Design Engine’s comprehensive Refurbishment of the Goodwood Aerodrome Building has featured in the Spring Edition of the Estate’s Magazine.
The completed scheme sits at the heart of the Goodwood motor racing track, with commanding views across an open grassland runway. The building is home to a café, offices for staff at the aerodrome and teaching space for a state-of-the-art flying school. The article looks at how the renovation has respected the building’s modernist style inspired by the aerodrome’s sporting heritage, and how the approach to the architecture, materials and interior fit-out have contributed to this.
