John Henry Brookes building wins a 2014 RIBA National Award

The John Henry Brookes Building for Oxford Brookes University has been awarded a 2014 RIBA National Award. It has already been awarded a RIBA South Regional Award (alongside Radley College’s Clocktower Square), the RIBA South Sustainability Award and the RIBA South Building of the Year.

The RIBA Judges described the building as having:

…a personality that is evident throughout and has achieved immediate impact and popularity”

RIBA National Award winning buildings set the standard for good architecture, The RIBA describe the winners as “projects that go beyond the brief and exceed the client’s expectation.”
