Rob Jackson

Rob Jackson \ Senior Associate

Rob studied architecture at The University of Nottingham, qualifying with distinction in 2006. During this time he won a place on the IAESTE student exchange programme in 2002, working at Architecture Collaborative in the United States and went on to work for both specialist healthcare and education practices in the UK before joining Design Engine Architects in 2008.

Since joining Design Engine he has worked on projects at all stages of design and delivery including special responsibility for detailed design and coordination.

As well as being a key part of the design team he was site architect for the multi-million pound award winning John Henry Brookes and Abercrombie Building at Oxford Brookes University. The building incorporates a new library and archive, teaching rooms, lecture theatre, multi-use venue, numerous catering facilities, retail and a medical centre.

Other projects he has been involved in include leading the team for the delivery of a new school in Guernsey, high specification retirement dwellings within a Conservation Area and the delivery of a contemporary private residence overlooking Chichester Harbour.
