Sally Snow \ Architectural Designer

Sally graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia with a Bachelor in Design (Architectural Studies) awarded First Class Honours and a Master of Architecture with Distinction in 2014. Throughout her studies she worked full time in Brisbane firms where a previous career in journalism led her to gravitate towards contract administrative and project architecture roles.

Her keen interest in writing has led to Sally co-authoring a successfully published paper on the effect of space within the home on collecting practices; with a further paper extending this research accepted into a conference in Melbourne, Australia. Her Masters thesis, completed with a High Distinction, investigated the influence of Constructivism on Worker’s Clubs designed by Russian Architect, Konstantin Melnikov in the 1920s.

Sally has had senior design and documentation roles on various projects including an oncology facility, golf park, childcare centre, shopping centre extension, motel refurbishment and office fit-out. Since joining the Design Engine team in 2015 Sally has been working on the La Mare De Carteret School, Guernsey, bringing her diverse experience and knowledge-base to the project.
